pH Control Systems
When it comes to the treatment of industrial waste water, pH control is essential to making your process work correctly. Our dissolved air flotation systems have been equipped for years now with PLC pH control systems, and we are proud to deliver this same technology to our customers in a standalone package. Many times our PLC based controllers are cheaper than stand alone controllers with much less capability.
Using a PLC to control pH adjustment allows for greater flexibility in control methods as opposed to traditional standalone pH controllers. Operator interface is greatly simplified through the use of color touch screen displays.
Because of the custom nature of our programming, we can offer single direction control or two-way control depending upon operational needs. The ability to vary dosing according to flow rate is also possible. Batch treatment or continuous flow processes are supported.
AUTOCONTROL 200 pH Controller
Our knowledge of pH control has allowed IWWS to design and build our own PLC based controller as a replacement for standard off the shelf pH controllers. These controller feature a modular design with separate control and pH transmitter components. The controller can be configured for either continuous or on/off operation. As many off the shelf controllers have hard to navigate operator interface solutions, we have designed the AUTOCONTROL 200 pH controller to have an easy to understand and navigate, color touchscreen interface. As this is a true PLC based controller, custom functions can be easily added at the customers request. Chemical Dosing Systems
Many waste water streams require the addition of multiple treatment chemicals. From acids, caustic, coagulants, and polymers, each requires different pump constructions and dosing methods. The nature of your process can also impact the design of an effective chemical dosing system. We offer standalone systems that can be added to existing equipment.
