Industrial
Waste Water Services Granted Patent for Continuous Heavy Metals
Removal Method
Industrial Waste Water Services, LLC (IWWS) announced today
that it has been granted a patent on its new Continuous Metals
Removal TM (CMR) process for removal of heavy metals from
wastewater. The new CMR TM technology removes all common metals
to the parts per billion level in a continuous process. Initial
markets for CMR include powdercoating, electrocoating other
metal finishing, leachate treatment, environmental remediation,
manufacturing, industrial laundries and waste chemical treatment.
Lamar Coleman, Owner of IWWS said:
"Continuous Metals Removal TM was developed to address
the increasingly tight heavy metals limits imposed on industrial
customers by municipalities. We wanted a continuous process
that would eliminate the bottleneck caused by traditional
batch-type metals waste treatment systems. The CMR system
cleans the entire waste stream including all common metals,
oils, greases and other contaminants in one continuous process
at flow rates up to 1,000 gallons per minute in a single unit."
The CMR technology is already in use at a number of companies
in the US.
IWWS is a provider of complete wastewater treatment systems
to industrial customers. Its products include physical/chemical
wastewater treatment systems, dissolved air flotation systems,
filter presses, oil-water separators, tilted plate settling
systems and mobile wastewater treatment systems.
